**In fourth grade we send home weekly manila envelopes every Monday (Tuesday if Monday is a holiday). In this folder will be notes from the office and GRADED assignments, tests, parent signature notes, etc. We ask that a parent/guardian sign the front of the envelope and send it back to school the next day. This has been a helpful way for us to keep track of important information. Thanks in advance for helping us with this.
** YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE:) :)
We are beginning a read-around-the-room activity which involves our students reading individual books appropriate to the fourth grade level. Short reports will be written up and markers will be put up on the wall representing each one read. Please encourage your child to have a free reading book handy at all times. The reading in not required to be done entirely at school. So... reading at home is good!! Our goal is to earn a class party by reading around the room.
