Dear Parents,
These last 2 weeks are packed with activity!! I always sense a need for more time to spend with your children as the year-end is upon us. As much as vacation has its allure, I have loved spending days together with my class. They are wonderful examples of God's creativity, humor and love. Each one demonstrates in his/her own way the magnificence of our Lord's design. Please partner with me to make these weeks productive and as focused as possible for your children. We are beginning a read-around-the-room activity which involves our students reading individual books appropriate to the fourth grade level. Short reports will be written up and markers will be put up on the wall representing each one read. Please encourage your child to have a free reading book handy at all times. The reading in not required to be done entirely at school. So... reading at home is good!! Our goal to to earn a class party by reading around the room.
