DIRECTION TO RAWHIDE RANCH Animal show starts promptly at 11:30. Take the 91 Freeway east to the 15 Freeway south toward San Diego. Travel about 1 1/4 hours on the 15 Freeway. Just past Fallbrook you will see a large cement bridge over the freeway. The exit is just past the bridge-Old Highway 395. After you exit, turn right at the stop sign. After about 1/2 mile turn left onto West Lilac Road. 1.6 miles down West Lilac Road on the left is Rawhide Ranch. Look for the Rawhide Ranch sign. Turn in and follow the dirt road to the parking lot. It is an "Old West" town, so head on down Main Street. Someone will direct you to the large arena for the show. Please do not arrive early. The Ranch will ask you to stop in town to enjoy a cup of coffee. Early arrivals disrupt the classes. Hope to see you on Friday! |

**Rawhide Ranch News*** Items to Pack: sleeping bag & pillow toothbrush & toothpaste 1 warm jacket Bible & pencil T-shirts 3 pairs of shorts- girls need to add a pair of bike shorts or stretch capri pants to wear under regular shorts, or athletic pants for vaulting. Boys need sweats/athletic pants 1-2 sweatshirts 2 pairs of jeans/pants 1 pair sunglasses sunblock;hat warm pj's and socks 2 towels 2 pairs of shoes soap and washcloth flashlight w/extra batteries $15-$20 for spending money (Please do not send $20 bills) One's and five's are best. May 12 - Permission slips and ALL medications your child will need to take at camp, should be brought to the office by a parent today. (Do not send with your child.) May 13-16 - 6th graders leave for Rawhide Ranch at 10:00 A.M. Buses will bring them back on Friday by 3:30 P.M. or you may pick up your child from camp. |
